For the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia on May 17th:

Fondation Émergence publishes its 2017 campaign against homophobia and transphobia in nine foreign languages.

Montreal, May 1, 2017 —Fondation Émergence is pleased to make available to many audiences across the world digital versions of its 2017 campaign posters in nine languages, in addition to French and English.

According to Mr. Claude Leblond, President of Fondation Émergence, “in addition to French and English, the availability of the posters in nine foreign languages will allow all those involved in the fight against homophobia and transphobia throughout the world to have access to a tool that they will be able to print or easily circulate on social networks around the globe.”

As mentioned on March 28th, when the 2017 campaign theme and visuals were announced, this year’s slogan, Regardless of Gender, aims to highlight, and raise public awareness of, certain human challenges that trans people experience.

This campaign was designed by the agency lg2 in collaboration with Fondation Émergence. The National Bank of Canada is the official presenter of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.
